The HBCU Basketball Association is poised to become a transformative force in the world of collegiate basketball. Our mission is to honor and elevate the rich tradition of basketball at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, while providing a vibrant stage for our talented athletes, passionate fans, and dedicated institutions.
As we look ahead to 2025, our vision is clear:
Empower HBCU Student-Athletes: We aim to provide unparalleled opportunities for players to excel both on and off the court, paving pathways for professional careers, coaching, and leadership roles in sports management.
Celebrate HBCU Traditions: We will honor the history and culture that make our institutions unique, paying tribute to the legacy of those who have paved the way for today’s athletes.
Engage Communities: HBCUBA will create engaging events, games, and tournaments that unite fans, alumni, and supporters, fostering a strong sense of community and pride.
Though we’ve experienced some delays, we are more committed than ever to bringing you an extraordinary experience. The anticipation for our launch is building, and we are hard at work planning a series of thrilling tournaments and special events that will showcase the incredible talent of our HBCU athletes.
